This true story began when Keiko was born to Mr & Mrs Tazaki. Keiko is a disabled child with hearing impairment and intellectual disabilities. The story depicts the struggle of what a typical family and a child with special needs go through. Centering on the heart-warming rapport between Keiko and her mother, this animated film gives a vivid determination of a group of parents, which resulted in the establishment of the ‘Home of Acorns’, which is a workshop for handicapped people.

With the endorsement and support gained from a coalition of nationwide NGOs, this memo was eventually submitted through the National Early Childhood Intervention Council (NECIC) to the Minister of Education, Malaysia, as a Memorandum in conjunction with the National Education Review 2012.
